Chien Shiung Wu was an ambitious student in China and she was always among the top in her class. She moved to America for graduate school. After finishing her degree she became involved in the Manhattan Project to develop atomic bombs. She along with her colleagues made a lot of discoveries in physics, and she received many honors and awards for it.
